Christmas Potpourri Recipe with Printables

Sharing is caring!

I love the smell of a Christmas potpourri recipe during the holidays. The combination of oranges, cranberries and cinnamon sticks is delightful, and makes the home smell festive!

Christmas Potpourri Recipe with Printables

This Christmas Potpourri Recipe is super simple and easy to make, using just 5 ingredients and a bit of water.

The only work required is to slice the orange and put the other ingredients in a pot, bring to a simmer, and reduce to low for as long as you’d like to enjoy the fantastic scent.

Your house will smell amazingly warm and inviting!

Even though these smells remind me more of Christmas (hence the title, Christmas Potpourri), I will sometimes start using it as early as Thanksgiving.

There is something about the cooler temperatures and frequent early snow that we usually have here in New England that makes me long for the scent of Christmas Potpourri to make the house feel warmer.

Bring on the holidays!

I really love the smell of this Christmas Potpourri, and hope you enjoy it as well.

The printables are great, because often guests will comment that they love the smell and ask for the recipe.

If you have extra ingredients, you can bag them with a printable tag, and send home as a party favor for adult guests.

A nice cellophane bag tied with festive ribbon, would make a nice gift for teachers, bus drivers, hairdressers, friends, neighbors, and anyone else that you’d like to share this with.

The ingredients are readily available during the holiday season at most local supermarkets.
