This Peanut Butter Banana Oat Muffin recipe makes a healthy breakfast or snack any day of the week.

Bananas are a superfood that can satisfy hunger cravings and aid in digestion. They contain high amounts of magnesium and potassium, which is good for your blood.

Is peanut butter and banana a good breakfast?

When you pair the healthy benefits of a banana for breakfast with the good, healthy fats found in peanut butter, it ensures all of the healthy benefits of bananas are absorbed and not just spiking blood sugars or acids. Adding flax seeds and oatmeal, such as in this recipe, provides additional healthy benefits.

Did you know that you can make your own homemade Peanut Butter in just 5 minutes and only 1 ingredient? Making your own peanut butter is so much cheaper and tastier than store-bought brands.

For those, like me, with nut allergies, nut free butters are available at your local supermarket that can be swapped for peanut butter.

Is oatmeal and peanut butter a good breakfast?

Yes! Oats are high in fiber and peanut butter is high in healthy fats, so the combination makes for a great breakfast to start your day. You could also serve some delightful cheddar bacon scones with these muffins to round out your breakfast options. These homemade scones are very simple. You just need to combine the ingredients, shape and roll out the dough, cut the scones out and bake them. When you smell these in the oven, your mouth is definitely going to be watering!
