Lemon Turmeric Popsicles
This type of foods includes lots of fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs and spices, etc.
Anti-inflammatory foods can also include certain fatty fish, whole grains, and plant-based proteins (like beans and nuts).
Personally, I cannot eat any fish, nuts, certain grains, or vegetables due to food allergy issues.
I have been looking into which foods can help reduce the inflammation in my body though, to help deal with the flares I’ve been having, while also avoiding foods I might be allergic to.
I don’t really enjoy drinking some of the recipe mixtures I’ve found, but freezing them into popsicles makes it a bit easier to deal with.
This particular Anti-Inflammatory Lemon Turmeric Popsicle Recipe includes ingredients such as Lemon, Turmeric Honey, Ginger, and Water.
Gather all ingredients, and use a juicer to squeeze the fresh juice from your lemons.
Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness if desired.
Pour the liquid into popsicle molds and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours to freeze completely.
When ready to eat, place the bottom half of the mold in warm water for a few seconds to allow the popsicles to easily lift out of the mold.
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- ¾ cup honey add more to taste
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
