Growing up, my kids loved getting to exchange Valentine’s with their friends and classmates at school.
Many candy packages come with valentine’s cards inside the bag, but we’ve found there is less candy in those bags and a more expensive price vs buying just a big bag of candy.
You can save even more by purchasing a jumbo bag of candy!
I buy card stock and thick paper when I see it on sale throughout the year and save it to use for printables, such as this Owl Valentine Printable.
I pop the paper in my printer and print the PDF, punch some holes in for the candy, and it’s ready to go!
As an added bonus, with printables, you can control the sayings.
My boys didn’t like to give out some of the sayings on the store bought valentine’s to anyone, and there were so few that were for “friends” only.

Materials
- Printable Cardstock (best printed on a thicker cardstock in order for it to hold the tootsie pop)
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Tootsie Pops
Instructions
Directions:
1. Use scissors to cut along the outer edge of the colored border on each valentine.
2. Punch two holes through each card on the bottom half towards the center. Slide a tootsie pop through the holes.
*If you’d like to write To/From on the front or back – it’s best to do so before sliding the tootsie pop through.
