Flavor variations
These easy pizza crescent rolls are really easily adapted to suit the pizza flavors you enjoy. Here are some suggestions:
- Use any flavor of cheese that melts well in these pizza crescent rolls, try sharp cheddar, Swiss or pepper jack cheese.
- Make them extra cheesy by spreading on some cream cheese along with the mozzarella.
- Swap sliced ham for thin slices of salami or pepperoni, or add shredded leftover chicken.
- If you don’t like pineapple on your pizza roll, leave it off.
- Add a touch of chili heat with red pepper flakes, or jalapeno peppers.
- Thinly slice some black olives and add to the mix.
