Easy Apple Crisp
This is a recipe for Easy Apple Crisp that is very simple to make!
If you don’t require a gluten-free diet, just use regular all purpose flour and regular oats, it’ll turn out the same!
This simple recipe requires just 6 ingredients, and is ready in just 35 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
In a 9×9 Baking Dish, pour in your homemade or canned apple pie filling in an even layer.
If you have an Instant Pot, you can make my Instant Pot Apple Pie Filling!
*Note, I got my glass baking dish as a wedding gift, over 21 years ago- it’s a Corning Ware, I have no idea if they still make them, and the 9×9’s I saw online to link as a reference looked to shallow to bake a crisp in (You don’t want it to overflow).
I finally found a one deep enough at a reasonable price, but it’s an 8×8.
If you use an 8×8 it may take a few extra minutes to be done all the way through.
If you use a 10×10, it may cook faster, so check it a few minutes earlier.
You can use round pans, square pans, whatever you have, just keep an eye on it and remember the times may need to be adjusted 🙂
OXO Good Grips Freezer-to-Oven Safe 2 Qt Glass Baking Dish with Lid, 8 x 8
In a large mixing bowl, mix all crumble topping ingredients together.
Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
Bake in your oven at 325 for approximately 25 -30 minutes until it’s warmed through and the topping is golden brown.
Keep in mind any adjustments you may need to make for pan size or oven variations.
It’s best served warm, and in my house, they guys demand a scoop of vanilla ice cream with it.

- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup gluten all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup gluten free oats
