Tips for success/variations:

  • If you want to use a different type of cheese, you can try ricotta, mozzarella, or feta. They will all be delicious with these roll-ups.
  • The filling is basically artichoke dip, so the spinach rolls will taste similar.
  • If you want to add some meat to these rolls, try shredded or chopped chicken.
  • Try a breakfast version and make these rolls with ham and cheese.

How to serve:

Some other dishes you can serve alongside these Spinach Crescent Rolls are French Onion Dip, Guacamole Deviled Eggs, Easy Peasy Pea Salad, or Chicken Bacon Ranch Poppers

These rolls go great with these main dishes: Chicken Parmesan Crescent Rolls, Honey Pecan Chicken, Instant Pot Chili, and Beef Enchilada Casserole.

How to store:

Keep any leftovers in the fridge for up to five days in an airtight container. You can also make these cups ahead of time and freeze them. Put them in a freezer bag and be sure to label them so you remember what’s in the bag when you find it in the freezer later.

To reheat, place the cups in the microwave and heat in 30-second increments until they’re heated all the way through.

FAQs:

Can you make this spinach roll recipe into pinwheels?

To make these rolls into rings, roll the dough flat, spread the filling around, roll the dough up into a log, and cut slices out of the log. These make pinwheels.

What can I use instead of Pillsbury crescent rolls?

If you don’t have the crescent dough, you can use pie crust or puff pastry instead.

How can I make this dish gluten-free?

Remove the crescent roll dough and make a spinach dip instead! Yum!
