We love experimenting and creating animals, characters, and themes using cookies. It’s a great way for kids to use their creativity and learn how to use that in the kitchen.

Mice Nutter ButtersSet up double boiler with shallow pan and ramekins for each color chocolate.

Fill with water till half way up side of ramekins *careful not to get water inside them as it will seize the chocolate.

Turn heat to medium low.

Add chocolates and smidge of coconut oil to each, stirring to combine as they melt.

*To create gray: combine 2 black melting chocolates to ½ cup white chocolate.

Mice Nutter ButtersUsing wand or fork, dip nutter butter cookies in gray chocolate until thoroughly coated.

Hover above dish as chocolate drips off.

Use a toothpick to pop any air bubbles that form.

Set on wire rack to harden.

Mice Nutter ButtersFill a piping bag with melted black chocolate and a tiny hole snipped or use a toothpick to decorate the mouse ears and create tails.

To create the face: dab two tiny dots for eyes, a larger dot for the nose and carefully draw three whiskers on each side of the nose.

Then draw half circle ears above and off to the side of the eyes.

To create the tails: Again use the piping bag or a toothpick to draw squiggly lines in all designs. Get creative and make extra in case they break during attaching. Place tails in the fridge to harden.

Carefully attach tails to the base of the mouse using a toothpick dipped in the gray chocolate to create a glue.

Set to dry and harden. Store in airtight container.
