Copycat Cracker Barrel Cole Slaw

This delicious and easy to recreate copycat Cracker Barrel Cole Slaw is a perfect side dish!

We really love eating at our local Cracker Barrel restaurant, and Cracker Barrel Cole Slaw is a family favorite dish to enjoy when we are there. When we cookout or have barbeques, the kids have not enjoyed eating the store bought coleslaw brands I’ve tried, so I experimented and came up with our version of copycat Cracker Barrel Cole slaw. You can easily adjust the quantity of ingredients to make more, if you’re serving to a large group for a potluck or BBQ!

Start by placing your cabbage and carrots in a large mix bowl.

Mix until well combined.

Add in miracle whip, celery seed, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, buttermilk, milk, and lemon juice.

Mix and toss until well combined.

Chill in the fridge for 3 hours.

Serve and enjoy!

I grew up in Memphis, where it’s standard to get Cole Slaw on Barbeque Sandwiches.

Some people do ask for it on the side, but you have to remember to ask or they’ll likely put it right on top.

At our house, it’s a given that we’ll enjoy this coleslaw dish when we have Crock Pot Pulled Pork or Grilled Ribs!
