Taco PieTaco Pie

This Taco Pie Recipe is delicious and very easy to make. It requires just 6 simple ingredients and is ready in just under 45 minutes. It’s a fantastic dish to mix things up a bit for Taco Tuesday!

Taco PiePreheat oven to 350 degrees. Spritz a 9 inch round or 8×8 inch square casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Taco PieIn the baking dish, stir together the cooked meat, garlic, and taco seasoning. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish.

Taco PieIn a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.

Taco PieSlowly pour over the beef mixture so it sinks into the meat.

Taco PieTop casserole with cheese.

Taco PieBake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the center is set.

Taco PieAllow the casserole to rest about 5 minutes before slicing.

Taco PieServe with taco toppings like black olives, salsa, jalapenos, sour cream, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pound ground chuck browned and drained
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spritz a 9 inch round or 8x8 inch square casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In the baking dish, stir together the cooked meat, garlic, and taco seasoning.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
Slowly pour over the beef mixture so it sinks into the meat.

Top casserole with cheese.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the center is set.
Allow the casserole to rest about 5 minutes before slicing.

Serve with taco toppings like black olives, salsa, jalapenos, sour cream, etc.

  1. WOW what a great recipe. My family loves tacos and to have it in a pie would mean that everyone would be able to have some. It looks like it is one that even younger members who want to learn to cook would be able to do and present as a meal they made.
