Taco Crescent Roll Pinwheels

Taco Crescent Roll Pinwheels are an easy meal made with ground beef, crescent roll dough, taco seasoning,  cream cheese, and Colby jack cheese.

– Ground beef - Onion - Can diced tomatoes with green chilis - taco seasoning - water - crescent roll dough sheets - cream cheese - shredded taco blend cheese

1. Brown ground beef, add tomatoes with green chilis, taco seasoning and water and stir

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened, unroll package of dough onto lightly floured parchment paper

3. Spread half the cream cheese over the top of the dough and top with half the taco meat.

4. Sprinkle half the shredded cheese over the top of the meat. Use your hand to lightly press all the ingredients into the cream cheese to make it easier to roll.

5. Roll the dough into a log, using the parchment paper to help lift the dough as you roll.

6. Cut the dough into eight one-inch slices and place the slices on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

7. Bake the pinwheels for 10 to 13 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the dough is golden brown.
