Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

– butter - sugar - brown sugar - egg - milk - red food coloring - vanilla extract - all purpose flour - unsweetened cocoa powder - baking soda - salt - semi-sweet chocolate chips



1. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 8 to 10 minutes.

3. To the butter mixture, beat in the egg, milk, food coloring, and vanilla.

4. Gradually add the flour mixture into the creamed mixture, scraping down the sides of the bowl.

5. Stir in the chocolate chips.

6. Using a small cookie scoop, drop cookie dough about 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.

7. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
