Fall is rapidly approaching, and with that comes nights full of homework and soccer practice. I try to use my slow cooker as often as possible on busy nights, but sometimes my days are busy too and I don’t get around to getting the food into the slow cooker so I can be cooking away. For days like those, I try to keep a few staples in my pantry for quick and easy meals. Manwich is one of those staples.
When SocialSpark contacted me recently and asked if I’d like to participatein a campaign for Manwich, of course I said yes, because it’s a product I purchase and use regularly. They sent me the three cans pictured above, in the flavors: Original, Bold, and Thick & Chunky. One can was a little dented after shipping, but it was fine. I love that I can just put some ground beef in a skillet and brown it, stir in a can of Manwich, and then place it on some buns with cheese. We do try to include a green vegetable at every meal, however, the night we had these was a rare exception. Dad had a work dinner and the kids had been begging for mashed potatoes and mac & cheese, so I allowed them to skip the green veggie on this night.
Which flavor of Manwich does your family like the best? Mine loved them all, but voted Thick and Chunky as the favorite.
