Air Charter Service

I went on a blog trip earlier this year, and had the fortunate opportunity to be able to fly on a private jet. This is not something that is available to me on a regular basis, and it was thrilling to enjoy. Since we are in the midst of a cross country move, and will be travelling by plane 6 hours with three kids and two pets, I wish a private jet was available to us!
The company is generously paying for the vast majority of our relocation expenses, including airfare, but it’s at the Economy rate, not the Air charter service package, lol. We have researched each available airline, their policies and procedures, baggage fees, and pet policies. Because of the heat, the pets can’t go as baggage. The Cargo area doesn’t open early enough to allow us to send them that way (it is temperature controlled and pressurized), so they will be going as carry on. We’ve added them to our reservation, but the biggest fear is carrying the cat through security outside of her carrier! If we were going via private air service, that wouldn’t be necessary, and it would be no biggie for them to be in the cabin with us.
The kids have never flown before, so they are excited. Because of the short notice, we were unable to secure adjoining seats on airlines that assign seats, so we had to make the choice to fly Southwest, book the early check in service, and HOPE that we are able to at least secure 2 seats together and then 3 seats together. I can’t fathom not having the kids next to a parent during a flight when they are so young! If we were paying this out of pocket, we may have gone with a private service for peace of mind; the luxury would be an amazing bonus :)
This is a sponsored post for Clear Jet, however, all the points and views are my own.
